When you’ve done all that you know
And you don’t know what else to do,
When you’ve been everywhere you can
And you don’t know where next to turn,
When you’ve said all that comes to heart
And you don’t know how else to frame it,
One word suffices for such a time;
It doesn’t matter how, where, and when,
Whether you raise your voice to the heavens
Or utter a silent cry from the depths
Results are the same when propelled by faith:
Call on, cling to the name: Jesus! Jesus! Jesus!
The name that never fails those who call.
Scripture says there is only one name given, in heaven, on earth, and beneath, by which we are saved and that name is Jesus. Often, we limit the ability of the name of Jesus to save us from sin alone. Yet in truth, Jesus means salvation from any and everything that stands in the way of attaining God’s purpose for our lives.
Whatever they be that trip you up, weigh you down, or drag you back, having done all to stand and you just don’t know what else to do to keep from failing and falling, hang onto the name of Jesus. The name brings deliverance and salvation irrespective of situations. It is the name to which all knees, principalities, and powers, everywhere bow. That name is full of power and life: never failing, ever enduring. May that name bring reprieve your way today in Jesus name, amen.
Glory!
