Whatever you do, fear not!
To those who fear not, faith turns the key
To explore and exploit falls for gains.
To fall is not an end: fall will let you, if you let it.
Fall showers mercy on those who apply grace
Seeking wisdom where they are docked
Sparring neither pity nor patience for those
Who focus on the loss. When you hit the ground
Divorce fear, evict blame, marry repentance
Befriend hope and fortitude, and never give up.
Those who wed fear at fall sacrifice their hope
Worrying and hurrying to nowhere, and to these
Fall clings unrelenting, voiding healing and recovery
Any wonder people fall to rise beyond their past
And some never make it up again?
Live not for fear, live not to fear
Wherever you find yourself: fear not.
Food For Thought: It is shocking to learn what fear can do to humanity. It threatens those on their feet, that go as high as they please, the ground is their ultimate destination. Why? So you quit. If you are eventually going to fall then why try in the first place to stand, why work so hard to go so high only to end up where you never want to be but have no choice ending up in anyway? And who says that is where you will end up? Fear. You would then assume that the fallen are free but that is far from the truth. It keeps kicking and screaming, “You will never make it up again!” Why? So you quit trying to arise. If try all you can you won’t get up and out of your dilemma, why waste your limited resources trying? Fear has no limit; it hunts the big and the small, the old and the young, rich and poor. It doesn’t matter where you started off and how far you’ve come, fear respects no one. When we give our ear to fear, we cease to strive and never will thrive. God’s Word fills us with hope and teaches that irrespective of the beginning and in between, the end of those who continually choose to stick with God, with truth, and with hope, is bliss.
Scripture: Only be strong and very courageous, that you may observe to do according to all the law which Moses My servant commanded you; do not turn from it to the right hand or to the left, that you may prosper wherever you go. Joshua 1: 7.
Prayer: Dear Lord, help me to overcome my fear and make gains from my mistakes, through faith in You and in Your Word, amen.
