Some think sin is limited to, “Do not. . . ,
Touch Not . . . , taste not . . . .”
To the Spirit filled and led, sin is;
Any location outside God’s will
Any position not in His way
Anything, anywhere that falls
Short of God’s program for you.
It doesn’t matter how great
It doesn’t matter for how long
If where you are today is outside
The Father’s will for you, for now
Then you are in sin:
The way out is repentance.
The time for repentance
Is not when you are done
Not when you are tired
Not tomorrow or later:
The time for repentance is ‘Now!’

Food for Thought: We often feel we have all the time to make our decisions; “I will repent of my sins tomorrow and give my life to Christ the next day.” “I will quit next month . . . . I will start over next year . . . .” In truth, the only time we have for repentance, for Christ, for life, for eternity, is now. Tomorrow might just be too late.

Scripture: For He says: “In an acceptable time I have heard you, and in the day of salvation I have helped you.” Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation. 2 Corinthians 6: 2.

Prayer: Dear Lord, whenever Your Spirit convicts me, may I not argue or try to prove anything: may my response to Your conviction be total repentance, amen.
