I am searching for words
That clearly reflects
The power and splendor
The matchless wonders
That is part of Him, whom
We call God Almighty!
A to Z are too limited
One to infinity still not enough
To paint and proclaim
The power and splendor
The matchless wonders
That is part of Him, whom
We call God Almighty!

Food For Thought: Gather everything you know about God, add to it the knowledge of the entire world of Him. The result? Still not anywhere near who and what God is. No words can ever describe Him enough. Just like the language of a toddler is but sounds that we strain to understand their meaning, so is our language too limited to describe the majesty of the Almighty. The best adjectives that we have here fall so short in describing His attributes. Even infinity is not sufficient to measure the wonders of His Royal Majesty. The sum of all our knowledge is as limited as our language when it comes to God. We can only use what we have to describe what we know though our very best yet falls short. What am I trying to say? Our best is nothing to Him who made and owns it all. Yet He desires it. What does that tell you about God? It says to me that this God is beyond knowing, beyond understanding, beyond confining. It makes me look forward to that era when all the limitations would be gone and we will see Him as He is, know Him in full, and can say it as we see it. No, we don’t live for all the things we chase back and forth, from dawn to dusk, which we can’t take beyond here and now. For this we should live: the day that we will see Him as He is, know Him as we ought, worship at the feet of Him whose love captured our hearts forever, without the limitations that constrain here and now.

Scripture: The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament shows His handiwork. Psalm 19: 1.

Prayer: Dear Lord, all of heaven and earth put together are still not enough to declare the wonders of Your majesty, amen.
