For all of sins committed
For all of sins – committing
And for all of sins yet to be committed
His blood was more than enough:
The blood of Jesus paid for it all.
For every curse uttered
For every curse – uttering
For every curse yet to be uttered
His cross was more than enough:
The cross of Christ absolved it all.
For all that I ever needed
For all that I am needing
For all I will ever need
His love is more than enough:
God’s love fills and fulfils it all.

Food For Thought: Some people like to dress up and just go out. Where? Let’s just go, we will end up somewhere, somehow and see. Every day, in various locations all over the world, people leave their homes not sure where they are headed or when they will return. For whatever reasons, they take life as it comes. They are not prepared for anything in particular but they are ready for just about anything that comes their way. Because we are like that, can do that, or know people who do, we sometimes think of God also in such a light. As if Christ came to earth with a good intention that was truncated on the cross. As if the gang up by the Jewish leadership and the crucifixion was a surprise that God had to make the best out of anyway. But no. From the beginning to the end, they were all as planned by God. The enemy is the one surprised at how things turn out at the end. We are the ones shocked to discover that from beginning to end, everything lined up and everyone involved knowingly or ignorantly played into the pre-determined plan and purpose of the Almighty. Unlike us, God is never taken unawares. To every move He makes, there is a purpose and every time He shows up, there is a plan. When He made that move on the cross, He left nothing outstanding. Every debt was cleared, salvation guaranteed for everyone. How humbling to know that even before time began, when He was determining purposes and mapping out plans, God had you and me in mind! And He didn’t make part payment so we can add to it: He paid in full to set us completely free.

Scripture: And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 2 Corinthians 12: 9.

Prayer: Dear Lord, forgive me for ever thinking that there remains a sacrifice to complete my liberty: You have set me free; totally free, wholly free: thank You Jesus, amen.
