We can go here and there and everywhere
Following fancies of leaders and twitters;
True and false, real and virtual, chasing dreams
Yet here is a lesson never to forget: for enduring
Success, k
nowing God is not an option!
Desire can trigger but can’t birth change
Decisions don’t force change
Hard labor won’t contrive change.
What counts with change are takeoff
Choices en-route, passion, determination
Willingness to stay or stray.
We can’t make a difference blown around
By what comes and goes: if life must count
We need the Guide who knows the way
Marrying faith and diligence to every task
Because every end is linked to the next start.
We may be swayed, maybe stalled
Every difference is made or marred
By who and what we know, by what we do
With both: O that we may know!

Food for Thought: We all at one time or the other, if not all our lives, have harbored noble dreams. Dreams are often propelled by who and what we know. We all at different points in our lives have nurtured dreams to which we invested lavishly, sparing nothing, expecting commendable results. Yet, contrary to our hopes, the nobility of our expectations, and cost of our investments, dreams crash into pieces before our very eyes. The losses and sorrows, some irrecoverable, have compelled some to quit, discarding the meagre encouragements from such experiences that could spur us to be wiser. There is nothing wrong in believing your dreams; nothing wrong in investing your best to bring it to fruition. We live in such an unpredictable world where things spin out of control, and it could happen so fast. Consequently, routines are shrouded in uncertainties and knowns fettered by unknown. This fact rather than discourage our faith and investment in great dreams, should inspire us to seek, to find, to know, and be anchored on Him who knows the way. God is not only able to pave clear paths through worrisome hopelessness, He is equally able to lead us victoriously through if we follow faithfully to the end. If we must succeed, knowing God is not an option.

Scripture: That I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death.

Prayer: Dear Lord, the uncertainties of life are unnerving, unsettling, confusing, please may I find You as I seek Your face, to guide me in the path of victory, amen.
