Just as day reveals what is
Time also exposes what is not
Time will prove the real, the fake
And those playing games with God.
If there is anything I love to do: it is encouraging people; shining light on hope, dispelling discouragement, sharing strength with the weary and lifting heavy hearts. Nothing brings me joy as watching God use simple words to accomplish great things in the lives of people. Still, I feel the need to raise an alarm.
We live in times when people say one thing and do another. When believers talk the faith more than they walk it in their daily lives. We are in such a unique time when God has had it with double standards, and is going to begin to make distinctions between the true and the false. The implication is that we should get ready to see those who are genuinely serving God reap the rewards of diligence and faithfulness, at the same time that we will see those who use God’s name for their pockets and their bellies exposed for what they truly are.
God has no delight in the embarrassment of anyone. That is why He is calling our attention to the time and the need to make changes where necessary, to abide in Him so we can bear enduring fruits of grace and glory irrespective of who is around or not.
“I am the true vine, and My Father is the gardener. He cuts off every branch in Me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit He prunes so that it will be even more fruitful. You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you. Remain in Me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in Me.
“I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in Me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from Me you can do nothing. If you do not remain in Me, you are like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned. If you remain in Me and My words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. This is to My Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be My disciples. John 15:1-8.
May we be guided.
