Up and about, we danced around
To the tune of His love that knows no bound
The voice of mercy crooning at the background
Joyful and merry, we romped around
Celebrating grace that filled the gap
Raised me up and brought me close:
O such grace that made us one!
I look into His eyes and my heart flips and bows
Overwhelmed by enormity of love divine
“How can You love me so?” I ask. He answers
“Because You won My heart when you caught My eye.”
How can I ever repay Him for all I have gained?
What words, which gifts can say thanks enough?
Yet all He asks of me is worship: worship.
A friend once asked me, “What do you give to a woman that has it all?” What do you give to the Man who owns it all? What can you and I team up together to present, that will blow the mind of Him who made it all and owns it all? What gift will ever be enough for the Sovereign King who rules the world and all in it? How much does your offerings come up to – add all the tithes, first fruits, donations to churches and charities, and all what not? How much do you think that amounts to in the account of the One who made and rules heaven and earth and their vast resources? What fraction do you even get of all the monies that are printed on this planet? How much out of your lot do you think you can package to impress the Maker of the money makers?
Yet, all He asks for is worship. God is not after your monies and gifts. He is not seeking rich or poor. From generation to generation, Abba is seeking out those who are willing to learn, to worship Him in spirit and in truth. Will He find you, a worshiper today, tomorrow, and for as long as you live? O Lord, teach me please, to extravagantly lavish on You, the only thing that You truly need, the one thing that You desire of me: teach me to worship You, in truth and indeed, amen!
Glory!
