The ears of heaven and earth wear opposing apparels
Each picks same signals, ingests, digests, interprets
And responds inversely. Earth repeats what it sees
And hears, often missing and mixing both. Heaven
Sees and speaks beyond sights and sounds. God’s
Faithfulness is not hinged on what we think, see
And hear. God is faithful in spite of all. Consistent
Despite differences. Sure help no matter the phase.
Whatever is, God can work through it to deliver.
Whatever the lies or mess, wear patience, guard
Your peace, trust, let God work it together for good.

Food For Thought: Christ said if we have faith, though it be as small as a mustard seed, all things will be possible for us. Add also that we can do all things through Christ who is our strength and helper. Reality may not always confirm truth but reality cannot change truth. Reality does not alter the truth. Instead it is the truth that influences and changes the realities of our experiences. Reality is an existence that is so prone to change. Truth is a force that transforms. Reality cannot work on or convert truth. Truth has power to act on and turn around realities. Bearing in mind that realities are subject to change, our goal should therefore be to lay hold of truth, apply it consistently to our circumstances, knowing that though it takes time, the faithfulness of Him who works with truth will be revealed and lived. If we would trust God and not give up, His faithfulness will make His Word our realities. If we trust and doubt not, the Word of God will become flesh that lives in our day to day experiences.

Scripture: And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. Romans 8: 28.

Prayer: Dear Lord, when all around fails as they are wont to, help me find peace and contentment in Your unfailing faithfulness, amen.
