Food For Thought: Given the way things happen sometimes, it seems like we are being picked on. But reality is that life goes up and down for everyone else no matter how it appears. The timings of each event sure vary for different people. When we are not witnesses to the downtime of others, it is easy to assume that they live in perpetual pleasure whereas ours goes up and comes down. Good and bad is the lot of all mankind. We are distinguished not by experiences but in the way we handle them. How we handle life’s circumstances determines where they leave us. People may not know where we started, may not be aware of what we are battling, and may not even notice how we are dealing with them, but they will see where we end up and draw their conclusions just like we also do. Our attitude and response to life makes the difference – those are what to watch as life piles its issues upon us. Our goals and priorities are bound to influence our attitude and responses and subsequently the result. With our trust Godward, our best engaged not reserved, we would have lived and died for a cause that is greater than us and now; a cause that is worthy and not regrettable.

Prayer: Dear Lord, I know that my life is so dear You paid for it with Yours: help me to seek and not relent until I see You guiding me through every phase of life, amen.
