When you find the Spirit of Christ in another
Open your arms and heart, embrace that communion
Relish the relief of burden sharing, nothing matches
The joy of eternal Christ in a living soul –
When you find Christ in another, cherish it:
Celebrate God’s gift of comfort, touch of grace
Stamp of peace, breath of fresh air in a stifling world.
When you see Christ in another, don’t ignore it:
Those who abuse it lose it. Instead, celebrate
Heaven’s dispatch to a faithful journey man.

Food for Thought: It is true that the times we live in are fearful but that does not mean we should live in fear. Instead, God calls us to enter with boldness, the throne room of our Father the King, so we may receive all that we need, for offence and for defence. God is able to take care of His own. As we trust in His protection and provisions, our boldness should not be limited to the throne room. We should take that same boldness into the world, to test whatever comes our way, prove their sources and purposes, and deal with each in line with the will of our Father. And our King has not left us alone in these fierce times. Along the road, we will meet many pretending to be of Him. Yet in the midst of all the pretenses and deceptions, the Spirit of Christ is revealed in those who truly belong to Him, whom He brings along our path, that we may be encouraged by one another. My life is surrounded by these treasures who have become the voices of my Father, loving like He does, caring like He would, dispatching strength, consolation, counsel, reproof, and commendation as Abba chooses to route through them. Whenever you find the Spirit of Christ in another, celebrate, for God has come to you in the likeness of man like you and me.

Scripture: . . . who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. 2 Corinthians 1: 4.

Prayer: Dear Lord, open my eyes to see Your messengers positioned along my travel path for my good; help me also to identify those to whom I have been sent that I might help them more than I have been helped, amen.
